This trend reflects a desire to strengthen the ranks and initiate a genuine <strong>handover from one generation to the next<\/strong>.  The growing presence of pharmacists under the age of 35 provides tangible hope, raising the prospects of sustainable renewal.  <\/p><p>However, the dynamic remains fragile in several respects. The number of pharmacies closing in 2024 (260) and the decline in the number of pharmacists (-1.3%) underline the structural tensions in the regional network. Many professionals with industrial or retail backgrounds are considering a career change, motivated by the pharmacy&#8217;s new, broader remit, particularly in the fields of prevention, screening and digital services. The post-Covid context has accentuated this trend, highlighting the importance of an innovative practice integrated into the care pathway.  <\/p><p>This development is changing the very face of pharmacy, which must now combine traditional expertise with <strong>innovation<\/strong>. Increased professional training and digitalization offer essential levers for strengthening the commitment of young people to pharmacy networks, by facilitating their operational integration. <\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_economic_and_organizational_challenges_of_pharmacy_renewal\"><\/span>The economic and organizational challenges of pharmacy renewal<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><p>Beyond the numbers involved, <strong>generational renewal<\/strong> is mobilizing decision-makers around issues of governance, management and maintaining professional ties. The closure of pharmacies has a direct impact on access to care and the transmission of experience.  Structures need to capitalize on effective talent management tools to avoid losing valuable know-how and facilitate the adoption of responsibilities by young pharmacists.  <\/p><p>With this in mind, a platform dedicated to managing pharmaceutical communities is essential. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alumni.space\/en\/pharmacy-faces-the-challenge-of-generational-renewal\/\">Alumni.space<\/a> industrializes inter-generational coordination by integrating profiles, mentoring and job offers. This type of tool helps to reduce the time spent on administrative procedures and prevent the breakdown of professional networks, to the benefit of project continuity and collective ambition. <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Promoting_the_transfer_of_skills_to_enhance_the_attractiveness_and_longevity_of_the_profession\"><\/span>Promoting the transfer of skills to enhance the attractiveness and longevity of the profession<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3><p>A key element is the implementation of structured intergenerational <strong>skills transfer<\/strong> mechanisms, such as mentoring and the creation of operational pairs. Pharmacies committed to these practices found that junior staff showed greater loyalty and commitment. Regular rituals, a skills enhancement schedule and monitoring based on satisfaction indicators guarantee the effectiveness of these initiatives.  <\/p><p>HR and CSE managers also play a key role in anticipating the age pyramid and avoiding hasty departures. Early consideration of integration and co-option scenarios avoids costly disorganization in terms of image and quality of service. Schools and training centers, associated with these strategies, enhance the attractiveness of the profession by clarifying career paths and prospects.  <\/p><p>The rise of digital services and digitization facilitate access to sector-specific content libraries, sharing events and a specialized <strong>job board<\/strong>, accelerating recruitment and internal mobility.<\/p><p>These
